Our glassmaking studio, viewing gallery & factory shop are set within the Coalport China Museum, deep in the Ironbridge Gorge. Wenlock Edge is a long wooded escarpment stretching from The Wrekin to Craven Arms. The limestone ridge is the remains of a coral reef, so there are lots of opportunities for fossil hunting amongst the exposed rocks. The area is very popular with walkers and the National Trust own a seven mile stretch of the ridge.
